Four Reasons we Love Post Falls, Idaho

If you’re from around here, then you just know. Post Falls isn’t like any other town in America. From the beautiful natural surroundings to the tight-knit, friendly community, what more could we ask for? Sure it gets cold all the way up here in the far Northeast, but it’s certainly nothing that the residents of this great city can’t handle.

We here at Knudtsen Chevrolet know how lucky we are to live in such a strong community, which is why we would like to make this little toast to you, the great citizens of Idaho. It’s February, which means love is in the air, and we want to show you just how much we love Post Falls. That’s why we put together this small list of our favorite things about our city, from the blatantly obvious to the hidden gems that not everyone knows about.

Couer d’Alene National Forest

The giant forest located in the panhandle of Idaho serves as a gorgeous backdrop to our wonderful city and creates an atmosphere of constant general happiness. If you ever find yourself smiling for no reason or randomly in a great mood, you can most likely credit the beauty of your home as a main reason.

Whether you enjoy hiking in the mountainous terrain, gazing at the crystal clear lakes, or driving your 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 through the thick forest roads, Couer d’Alene is a big part of what makes this city home.

Close Knit Community

No matter where you are, the people are what make a city home. If you live in a community surrounded by strangers or unfriendly people, it significantly hurts your day-to-day experience. On the other hand, if you are lucky enough to live in a place like Post Falls, Idaho, then you know how much a friendly populous can increase the quality of life.

We are privileged to live in a city where everyone is treated like a neighbor, and it is evident every time you step out of the house. It’s not every city that you are greeted with a friendly smile and “how-do-you-do” just for walking down the street. That is why we here at Knudtsen Chevrolet could not be prouder to serve as your friendly neighborhood Post Falls new car dealer.

Mouth Watering Cuisine

One of the lesser known perks to living in Post Falls, Idaho is the food. From the fresh Atlantic salmon to Idaho’s famed smoked trout caught locally in the surrounding lakes, almost nowhere else in America is it so easy to catch and cook your own food, and the local community comes up with some killer recipes to send your fresh catch to another level.

Even if you’re not into working for your food, Post Falls have some very highly-acclaimed restaurants that will give you an experience to remember. If you’re looking for suggestions, Famous Willie’s Barbecue and Big Bear Deli are great places to start.

Awesome Activities

Such a flourishing natural environment opens up countless possibilities for fun activities. Post Falls is equipped to give residents and visitors alike the time of their lives with rafting, hunting, hiking, zip-lines and much more at just a short drive away.

Go biking down the state line loop or check out the waterfalls in the Spring or Summer for some truly stunning scenes and just enjoy a life of peace in bliss in this little slice of heaven.
